Meet The Artist
My name's Karma; the creator and producer of the by Karma Art Shop, but what does that mean forreal?
Three years ago, when Covid happened and I got laid off from my job (that'd I only been at for two weeks by the way) I started painting and decided I was officially an artist and that I was gonna pursue it seriously... forever. The crazy thing is, that job that I'd only been at for two weeks is what sparked this beginning. I met a guy there who I somehow ended up talking about how I love to draw and paint with; he commissioned my first painting ever, that he never picked up: an owl with an upside down glowing purple triangle in the middle of its forehead -- I still have it to this day.
After that I began painting seriously and created piece after piece after piece. Somewhere along the way I got the inspired action to sell them on a website, so I created one through Wix and found out, "oh shit, I can take a photo of them, put them on products, and sell them" aka print on demand. And that's what I did. It was the worst website I ever made, and while my paintings were dope, the way they were printing was not. Then, again, somewhere along the way, I found out about Shopify, its efficiency, and its higher quality aesthetic -- I knew it was the way.
But in that website my products were still pictures of paintings on products -- and it just wasn't right, they weren't transparent, they were literally pictures of my paintings so it just didn't look the best. I got the inspired action to take all of my paintings and turn them into graphic designs. So that's what I did. And I remade my website to really match the brand as I found myself, gained knowledge, and figured out what I really wanted.
And that's what sits before us today: the freshly revamped website, from karmalynn.art to byKarmaArtShop.com. It's been a long journey, but in a crazy way everything happened exactly as it was supposed to and I am so incredibly grateful to present these designs to you. I hope they resonate with your soul the way they vibrated with mine.

I can't verbally express how much I appreciate your support and the amazing opportunity to be able to connect with you this way. I genuinely hope you enjoy this shit as much as I do, and as always, thank you for spending energy with us.
